NPT Needle Valves
Hy-Lok’s standard NPT needle valves open in as little as 3 ½ turns and our quick turn needle valves can open in as little as 1 ¾ turns. Both valves can withstand pressure up to 10,000 psig (1034 bar) at temperature ratings from -100 Fahrenheit to 600 Fahrenheit, making them ideal for all operating environments.
NPT needle valves operate faster as the stem is lifted off the seat, more than 2 times faster than conventional valves. This reduces throttling which therefore increases the longevity of the seat. Hy-Lok’s NPT needle valves require less than half the number of turns to open fully and less operator feature when opening or closing compared to competitors’ valves.
There are several options you can choose from to customize Hy-Lok’s NPT needle valve according to your fluid requirements, such as:
- Air Actuators for Remote Valve Operation
- Grafoil Packing for temperature up to 800 Fahrenheit
- Manufactured to meet NACE MR – 0175
- Extended stuffing box for temperature up to 1200 Fahrenheit
NPT Check Valves
Hy-Lok’s NPT check valves prevent the reverse flow of fluid that can cause damage to your pressure system. It is engineered with a metal cone ring option to offer a metal-to-metal seat for high-temperature applications. The NPT check valve is also designed with a standard PEEK seat to ensure optimum performance and can also be manufactured to meet NACE MR-0175.
The metal seat in Hy-Lok’s NPT check valve has temperature ratings from -420 Fahrenheit to 1200 Fahrenheit, whereas the soft seat ranges from -65 Fahrenheit to 250 Fahrenheit. The pressure Hy-Lok’s NPT check valve can withstand up to 10,000 psig if needed.
Ball Valves
Hy-Lok also offers ball valves that can withstand pressure up to 10,000 psig at temperatures from -20 Fahrenheit to 400 Fahrenheit. The port sizes can be 3/16″, ⅜”, ¼” ,½”, 3/4″ and 1″. You can also choose the valve’s flow pattern to operate 2-way, 3-way switching or 3-way diverting.
