Three Categories to Choose From
Hy-Lok Canada manufacturers three types of pre-setting tools: manual, hydraulic, and electrical. Each tool is specialized for their respective applications and factory tested prior to shipping to ensure optimal performance. Information for each category is as follows:
Manual
Hy-Lok is proud to offer a proprietary manual presetting tool that allows for quick and easy setting of the ferrules to tube sizes 1/8” O.D. to 1” O.D. The manual tool is capable of being easily mounted into a vase, which allows the installer to preset ferrules by tightening with a wrench.
Hydraulic
Our range of hydraulic presetting tools are designed to provide consistent presetting of ferrules with minimal effort required of the installer where many connections or heavy wall tubers are installed. The hydraulic tool is available in two sizes to meet customer needs: The EZY-MAT-1 covers tube O.D. sizes ranging from 1/2” to 1” and the EZY MAT-2 covers sizes for 1/2” to 2”.
Electric
Hy-Lok’s electric presetting tools make ferrule presetting a breeze. With a simple touch of a button ferrules are pre-set to the tube to enhance connection installation and the interchangeable dies cover tube O.D. sizes of 1/2” to 2” fractional, as well as metric sizes from 4mm to 42mm.
